Congratulations to the 2017 VAR Scholarship winners!

This year VAR awarded 8 seniors with a $500 award to help with higher education costs.  The Valley Association of REALTORS® scholarship award is a $500 award given to one boy and one girl from the Valley’s public high schools in the following areas: Ansonia, Beacon Falls, Derby, Oxford, Seymour, and Shelton. Students should have a 3.0 average or higher, should be officially enrolled in higher education for the 2017 school year, and will be selected on a “Need Basis” by income or multiple family members attending college from the immediate family.

Deadline is May 4, 2017 to submit VAR 2017 Scholarship Application

2017 SCHOLARSHIP AWARD FOR "ACADEMIC EXCELLENCE"

The Valley Association of REALTORS® scholarship award is a $500 award given to one boy and one girl from the Valley's public high schools in the following areas: Ansonia, Beacon Falls, Derby, Oxford, Seymour, and Shelton. Students should have a 3.0 average or higher, should be officially enrolled in higher education for the 2017 school year, and will be selected on a "Need Basis" by income or multiple family members attending college from the immediate family. Please provide receipts for tuition/housing for other children attending an institute of higher education.

The deadline for submission is strictly enforced. If you are mailing your application, it must be postmarked May 4, 2017

The Valley Association of REALTORS®  offers a scholarship award of $500 each to one boy and one girl from each of the Valley’s public high schools in the following locations: Ansonia, Beacon Falls, Derby, Oxford, Seymour, and Shelton. Scholarships will be awarded based on academic achievement and financial need. Eligible students must have a 3.0 or higher grade point average and be officially enrolled in higher education.
